Every few months, the SWTOR Raid Race Community hosts a thrilling Raid Race Night—a highly competitive PvE event held through the Satele Shan Raiding Discord.
• A set of Nightmare Mode Operations is selected in advance for the competition.
• Captains participate in a live snake draft, selecting players to build their teams from our pool of skilled raiders.
• Once teams are drafted, they are given 30 minutes to strategize routes, roles, and compositions.
• The race begins, and the first team to successfully clear all selected operations wins.
To help captains make informed decisions during the draft, all raiders are assigned an approximate skill tier ranging from Tier 1 (newest) to Tier 6 (most advanced). This system provides a quick and easy way to understand a player's general experience level at a glance.
Additionally, every participant signs up with the role(s) they are comfortable playing—Tank, DPS, or Heals—to ensure teams can be built with balanced compositions.
These events are designed to push even the best players to their limits. While sign-ups are open to everyone, team selections prioritize performance, experience, and skill level.
We've successfully run multiple races every 3-4 months, delivering top-tier competition and fun for the SWTOR raiding community.
